16", 18", and 20" chain examples

Adjustable chains

On my website, an “adjustable” chain typically means it has two jump rings at the end, spaced 2 inches apart. This allows you to clasp the chain at either length. For example, a necklace listed with a 16–18” adjustable chain can be worn at either 16” or 18”.
